The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of Visual Edge Southwest Region products to the local customer base. This customer service-focused position is often the first impression of the Visual Edge Southwest Region team to meet internal and external customer needs and expectations. Responsibilities
Responsible for the secure and accurate loading of products for transportation to customer locations in a courteous, professional, and polite manner
Installation and basic key-op training of equipment at customer location
Frequent customer service interaction for basic equipment questions
Assists with warehouse and set up shop duties as needed
Responsible for keeping accurate and complete delivery documentation and paperwork validation, including serial numbers, equipment IDS, and meter counts for proper distribution
Basic troubleshooting of potential issues in the field that would need to be relayed to the Service team for follow up
Responsible for keeping company vehicles cleaned and well-maintained
Assist as needed and follow a daily delivery schedule and timely communication and updates from the field
Frequent in internal field touch with Service and Operations team to ensure time commitments are met
Other duties as assigned
Valid driver’s license and clean record
Ability to use delivery equipment including dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lift gates in a safe manner
Forklift experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on customer service skills
High school diploma or equivalent education
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus
Ability to drive at minimum, a 15′ foot box truck
Two to three nights overnight stay.
